Our alarms went off at the sad, dark hour of 5am this morning. It was difficult to roll out of bed, but the excitement of the day propelled us forward.

"Are you excited?"

"Yes. A little nervous about a couple lost hours of sleep last night though."

"I'm nervous. You'll be careful?"

"I'll be careful. I always am."

Thats some of the sparse conversation you'd hear if you were around this morning. Kevin will be starting on a portion of the Swamp Rabbit Trail and continuing through portions of the Blue Ridge Parkway and Pisgah National Forest. He'll be ending hopefully around 6:30 or 7 tonight in Asheville at Biltmore Village.
