Golden Days of Mama // Greenville, SC Lifestyle Photography // Documentary Photography
Megan and I have been friends for three years, and we’ve bonded over a lot of real, hard, beautiful life during those years. We started a little side-business together with another friend (Rachel!) called Third Hand Finds which has taken on a life of its own. It’s kept us connected when our day jobs disconnect us, and I’m so thankful for our friendship and partnership!
When she asked me to do a Documentary Session for her new lifestyle blog The Golden Day’s of Mama (coming soon!) I was so excited! Her home has a gorgeous collection of thrifted, found, vintage, loved items that she so perfectly organizes to create a warm, inviting, bright, peaceful atmosphere. Her personality is so open, and her sweet little boy Theo is so energetic! Together they made shooting simple and fun. I rarely come away from a session with more than 300 photos to comb through (for many reasons, some of which will be found in an upcoming blog on the behind-the-scenes process!), but during this session I snapped almost A THOUSAND frames! It was hard to finish her session, not because it was difficult to edit, but because there were too many beautiful photos to go through! (That’s definitely the problem I’d prefer to have during the post-session-processing.)
Take a look at these beautiful photos, and follow along with her lifestyle blog when she launches, The Golden Days of Mama! On Instagram at @thegoldendaysofmama.
Remember, for every two sessions booked, I’m giving away one FREE documentary session to a nominated person or family! To nominate a family, click here and scroll down to the form, to book your own session, click here!
